Steven's Bachelor Party!

The boys had a lot of fun yesterday at RPM go cart racing, dinner at Hooters, and wondering around Roseville! Thank you to everyone who came out!

TWO weeks to go!

Our wedding is in two weeks.

We got engaged 618 days ago (thanks timeanddate.com!).

We only have 14 days left to go.

I thought we would always be engaged. I thought I would always be planning this wedding. People said "It will be here before you know it!" and I just knew I had plenty of time.

Holy crap. 

This time two weeks from now my nerves will probably kick in, but I'll hopefully have some gals by my side to keep me playing Just Dance! and to watch The Wedding Singer. Three weeks from now, Steven and I will be married and back from our honeymoon in Monterey!

The past three weekends we have watched Steven's Aunt Gail's dog and puppies! Is this lil absolutely adorable!?!

CRAZY bridal WEEKEND!

So - HAD the most fun and absolutely EXHAUSTING weekend thanks to my most beautiful sister, and mother the very wonderful Bobette, my sunshine and my rock - Bobbi and Andrea, and the always adorable Miss Brittany!

Saturday was the Bachlorette party! Limo ride was suhweet! We ate at Joe's, we danced at District 30, we had a great time! The road started a bit bumpy - but we ended the night with swollen feet and barely able to keep our eyes open - that's good right?!

The Bridal shower was Sunday and was absolutely wonderful! All the games were a hit, the food was delicious, and the presents were breath taking!! Thank you so much to everyone who came and played the games!!

I feel like I have not stopped moving since Tuesday - is this what the next couple weeks will feel like?!

My (Kristen) Dad's birthday party was a blast (as always)!

We took our engagement photos today with the wonderful Kellie Valdez! She is super speedy & has already given us a sneak peak! Can't wait to see and share the rest of them!

Steven's Birthday Weekend!

We got back yesterday from a weekend of fun! We left Friday afternoon and headed that way. Monterey was a good 25 degrees cooler than Elk Grove/Sacramento by the time we got there & we loved it!

We wanted to try to stay away from the typical touristy things that we so often do while we're there, so for Saturday we decided to wonder around. We found the "Path of History" and ended up getting sucked into some pretty cool Monterey history. We got to stand where George Washington once was - THAT's pretty nerdy cool. :D

We met up with Amie & Shawn who wanted to venture around Monterey! We wandered and had a lot of laughs, Shawn realized he may not know his own strength, impatiently waiting for a trolley only to run frantically to another, avoiding a bunch of snobbish red and whites, and singing happy birthday - yeehaw!

 17 Mile Drive

 

Sunday came way too fast! After checking out we headed to the 17 Mile Drive, took lots of pictures, played with squirrels, and adventured on the rocks! After too much traffic and a different route home we celebrated with wine and lounging in the hot tub!

BIG THANKS to Papa LeBeau!! If it hadn't been for him, we probably would have spent the weekend at home!

Us vs. Manzanita

Adventures in El Dorado Hills! BBQ & Grandma + Grandpa Morrison's today and we collected Manzanita branches for our wedding while we were there. A little warmer than we'd like, a little stickier than we thought, but good food, family, and fun - why not?!

Steven's surprise party was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who made it out and those who didn't we still love you anyway! Steven was genuinely surprised and had a great time! Hope everyone else did too!
